| Job Description: |
The Cancer Registrar is responsible for maintaining an Approved Cancer Program to include, Cancer Registry, Tumor Board, Cancer Committee and Quality Assurance for Auburn Regional Medical Center. Abstracts information from patient records with the diagnosis of cancer. This information is entered into the facility's data base and submitted to the State Registry. Ensures accuracy and integrity of the medical record abstract data.
40 hours per week; day shifts; benefits-eligible |
| Job Requirements: |
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Associates Degree in Medical Record Technology.
- At least one year experience in Medical Records or Tumor Registry.
- Certified as a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR).
